Writing Examples

As a Grammarly user, I get periodic updates regarding my writing from the service. According to Grammarly, I am in the 90th percentile for overall content written and in the 97th percentile for vocabulary strength. In the internet age, where our primary interpersonal communication consists of email or SMS, copy is at an all-time importance. I take great pride in my use of the vernacular and I aim to improve my mastery of it every day. I'm very confident that I'll be able to craft persuasive and well thought-out communication missives for your organization.

The majority of content I produce is in the form of email, proposals or presentations that are not sharable outside of an NDA. However, I've compiled a few examples of my writing below in an attempt to demonstrate the breadth of topics I cover and a bit of my writing style--from the absurd to the assiduous.

Craigslist Ad: A Table and five chairs

Jumping directly into the "absurd" category... I love writing sensational Craigslist ads. It's a good creative outlet and it makes people want to buy the item. In this example, the table and chairs were sold within the hour of me posting this ad.

email Marketing Strategy

This is an example of how I like to blend creativity and problem solving. A business came to me with a need for increased sales. After analysing their business and competitors, it was clear that they needed an email marketing strategy. However, with little knowledge and even less resources it was also clear that automation was going to be the key to success.

New Brand: Creative Brief

One of the hardest things in my current role is capturing the essence of a budding new brand and condensing that into a brief that a creative team can understand and execute against. This is an example of a complex marketing strategy that I created and briefed for a to-be-developed brand.
